Bougie is anything that is perceived as “uppity” from a blue-collar point of view. ‘Bougie’ (pronounced boo’-she) is derived from the word Bourgeoisie, which refers to the middle-class in Europe. It’s used as an adjective to describe people who are acting “high and mighty” or better than someone else. Who doesn’t have a least one friend who is a lil’ bougie? All tees are cotton, excluding tri-blends. Tri-blend tee fabric specs: 50% polyester, 25% cotton, and 25% rayon.
