A Joyful Pair

An original watercolor painting of a young elephant relaxing on a wicker day bed in a delightful, sunny, Mediterranean-style, garden room with a Hoopoe bird standing on the beautifully patterned tile floor.   Orchids and a lemon tree add color to the room, Through the window and arched doorway is a view to a garden with a large banyan tree and red hanging heliconia flowers.   Light reflections on the tiles impart the feeling of a cool breeze in this inviting scene. I've always loved elephants, they are the most beautiful, soulful creature!  I have included a lot of thoughtful details to create a little story of a special place in time. These signed and numbered limited editions are printed on Ilford 310 gsm cotton rag textured paper with 80 year archival inks, they come with a certificate of authenticity.  There are no returns on prints but you can get a replacement free of charge if lost or damaged in transit.
