A/C Compressor - SW20

MAY 2023 UPDATE: All compressors now have the 93+ small plastic connector. If you have a 1990-1992 MR2, you will need to crimp on your existing spade connector or install a new spade connector. Its only 1 wire and takes 1 min to install. This is a Remanufactured A/C Compressor for the SW20 Chassis 1990-1999 Each reman compressor goes through a rigorous remanufacturing process to meet strict standards for quality. If the part does not meet their stringent specifications, it is replaced with a factory-new component or the part is scrapped out. As always, these units are built right the first time, so they last longer and perform better. Features : OE-specified O-rings & seals are compatible with both R12 and R134a refrigerants. Snap rings designed to improve performance under extreme heat. Thrust bearings structured to withstand tension and stress for maximum durability. Pistons are PTFE surface treated for smooth, efficient operation. This compressor contains Shipping Oil Only Drain / discard shipping oil and add manufacturer's recommended type and amount of A/C Refrigerant Oil through drain bolt or suction port (check underhood label for system requirements) 100% vacuum and leak tested for long life and proper performance Includes required o-rings / sealing washer for ease of installation Service Tip: Once filled with oil, place or hold the new A/C Compressor with the front seal facing down for 1-3 minutes. This will help coat the seal with oil - if this seal is not lubricated before installation, refrigerant may leak.
