FINAL SALE The Delta 1000 is a versatile and safe bed designed for ease of use and broad compatibility. Its universal frame works with most manufacturers' bed ends, old and new, thanks to a transition box on the foot section that allows for high/low shaft rotation changes; the shaft remains with the bed to prevent loss. The bed's safety features include SGS testing, compliance with FDA entrapment guidelines, and color-coded springs for accurate side rail installation. For user convenience, it features a quiet, self-contained, UL-approved motor that can be installed/removed with the patient in bed. The new hand pendant offers large, easy-to-use controls, and a 9-volt battery provides power for nine emergency lowers during outages, eliminating the need for a crank. The design includes a taller headboard for better home decor integration and break/scratch-resistant wood grain panels. The foot section is 50% lighter for easier delivery.An extension kit (model #15030EXTKIT) is available to extend the length to 84". The Delta 1000 ships in two cartons and features channel frame construction with a zinc-coated spring deck (Patent Pending).
