These carpenter jeans are a great way to branch out from your go-to denim. Modeled after old-school carpenter pants, these have a workwear history that we've updated slightly for a better fit. The 10.75-ounce denim comes from the Kaihara mill in Japan, one of the largest and best-known denim makers in the world. In more than 50 years of production, Kaihara has patented machines to improve the weaving process and developed new techniques that blend American and Japanese dyeing traditions.
