Factory functionality means a functional power steering system and our ‘CPE 986/987/996/997 Power Steering Package’ provides just that. This power steering setup is based off the 996/997 GT3RSR and used by Porsche themselves throughout many endurance races ensuring your power steering rack has optimal lubrication as the factory power steering setup can allow the rack to overheat causing seal failure during track use. More so, this is a proven solution by OEM Porsche versus Prius and/or MR2 power steering pumps which have limited and/or no data supporting track use. With this product you'll receive the following ... - (1) 986/987/996/997 SS Pump Bracket - (1) 986/987/996/997 Billet Hydraulic Rack Fittings - (1) 986/987/996/996 Feed/Return Line Set - (1) Re-certified TRW GT3RSR Electronic Power Steering Pump NOTE: Please be sure to select the correct chassis you plan on installing this package in as pump brackets do differ between chassis. It’s best practice to replace your fitting o-rings w/ the following new PN’s from Porsche anytime you service the PS system. 999-230-542-40 999-230-543-40
