Gearcase Vacuum Tester A gearcase that holds pressure will hold lubricant, but may leak in the opposite direction, allowing water the enter the unit. Use this tool to test for inward leakage, assuring the unit is properly sealed. Unit features a 0-30psi gauge and 3/8"-16 fitting for threading into the vent plug of many Johnson / Evinrude, OMC Sterndrive & Mercury (non-verado) / Mercruiser. Adapters are required for specific gearcases (see adapter kit p/n 935-09-23K) We also carry the Pressure Tester Replaces: 507982
