When the spacing fits, the comb both lifts and turns, which makes this one of the most satisfying bypass lessons in padlock work. Fast on the right padlock, clear about the fit. 8comb profiles 1single ★★★★★"picks worked well" Stephen M., verified buyer ★★★★★"This set is nicer than expected" Julian D., verified buyer ★★★★★"Great quality items." Mark B., verified buyer Who this suits Exploit the padlocks that still have the weakness Padlock testing Quickly check whether a cheap or older padlock has enough room above the plug for a comb attack. Bypass practice Learn the difference between picking pins and bypassing the pin stacks completely. Tool-roll coverage Add a low-cost bypass option beside hooks, rakes, shims, and tension tools. Why we like it Eight profiles for a very specific vulnerability Comb picks work differently from normal rakes. Their job is to push entire pin stacks above the plug so nothing blocks rotation. 8-piece spreadMultiple comb spacings improve your chance of matching a vulnerable padlock. Bypass actionThe comb lifts pin stacks and turns the plug when the lock allows it. Lokko valueA practical low-cost addition to a broader bypass kit. Clear fitUse them where the padlock has the internal room this bypass needs. How it works Lift everything above the shear line On a vulnerable padlock, the comb teeth line up with the pin stacks. Push the full stacks upward, then turn the comb like a key. There is no single-pin picking feedback because you are bypassing the stacks instead of setting them one by one. The key detail is physical space. The lock needs enough room above the plug for the comb to move the stacks far enough. Where it works Use them where the clearance is right Many manufacturers have closed this weakness by changing internal spacing. That is good security, and it makes comb picks a fast test for the padlocks that still leave the route open. Works only when the padlock has enough internal clearance. Profile spacing must match the pin spacing closely. Use on compatible training and authorized padlock work. They only work on vulnerable padlocks with enough clearance above the plug. Are these rakes? A rake manipulates pins at the shear line. A comb tries to lift full pin stacks out of the plug. Why are there eight picks? Different padlocks use different pin spacing and stack layouts, so the set gives you multiple profiles to test. Can I thin or tune comb picks? Some customers tune combs for fit, but the safer buying assumption is that the lock must already be compatible. Add the fast padlock-bypass test The Lokko 8-piece comb set gives you a clean way to test one of the classic padlock vulnerabilities. Add to Cart
