The VooDooStone™ is a trademarked color-changing gem exclusive to David’s Antiques & Jewelry. It shifts between purplish-pink, golden amber, and peridot green depending on the light source — daylight, incandescent, and fluorescent — because the stone literally sees light differently than the human eye. What is a cathedral setting? A cathedral setting raises the stone’s shoulders dramatically, like the arches of a cathedral, so the gem sits high and catches more light from every angle. It’s an architectural choice that gives the ring real presence on the hand. How do I care for this ring? Buff with a soft polishing cloth to maintain the Sterling Silver shine. Avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, and ultrasonic cleaners. Store in the pouch provided to prevent tarnish. Read more about our trademarked stone: The Enigmatic VooDooStone — A Jewel From Another World
