Coin Ring 894365

A vintage coin ring in 22K yellow gold — the deeper, warmer, almost-orange shade you only get with high-karat gold. The kind of piece that announces itself the moment it catches sunlight. Solid 22K yellow gold, 5.2g — heavier in tone and softer in handling than 14K or 18K, with the rich color old-world goldsmiths prized. The coin centerpiece is set into the band, original to the period the piece was crafted. Currently a size 6.75 — resizing in 22K should be done by a jeweler experienced with high-karat gold (the metal is softer than 14K). A piece with history; not for everyday wear if you're hard on your jewelry, but extraordinary for special occasions.
