Vintage 14K Yellow Gold 22 Inch Adjustable London Blue Topaz & Diamond Necklace 894084

A graceful 14K yellow gold cable chain finished with a delicate London blue topaz and diamond pendant - the kind of everyday-wear piece that drapes beautifully from the collarbone to mid-chest, elevated by the rich blue of the topaz against warm yellow gold. The pendant centers on an oval-cut London Blue Topaz - the deeper, smoky-blue cousin of sky blue topaz, prized for its richer saturation and subtle teal undertones. Above the topaz, a chevron of three round-cut diamond accents traces a V-shape from the chain, with three more small round diamonds set as a crown across the top of the topaz. The chain itself is fine-link cable, 22 inches long with an adjustable slide closure that lets you wear it shorter (16-18 inches at the collarbone) or full 22-inch length depending on neckline. Solid 14K yellow gold construction, 1.78g. An everyday-elegant piece for someone drawn to color, classic pendant silhouettes, or the versatility an adjustable chain provides. A specific color grade of blue topaz - deeper, more saturated, with subtle teal/indigo undertones compared to the lighter Sky Blue or Swiss Blue topaz. Created by heat treatment of natural topaz; routine industry practice. How does the adjustable closure work? The chain has a small bead slide that grips the loop - slide it toward the pendant to shorten the chain (down to about 16 inches), slide it back toward the clasp to lengthen to the full 22 inches. Holds securely while letting you adjust the drop on the fly. Is this real solid 14K gold? Yes - solid 14K yellow gold throughout, 1.78g for the complete chain + pendant. Not plated.
