88 Great Conversation Starters for Parents & Teens

Break through the meh's and uh's and connect with your teen through words when you use the 88 Great Conversation Starters for Parents and Teens Cards in a Tin as a fun dinner time game. The tin's body is covered with a tone-on-tone green question mark design, and it is topped with a tightfitting eggplant purple lid. The lid holds the title in a bright orange speech bubble outlined in white that is placed on top of a light green speech bubble mimicking a response. The title is presented in black and white lettering. 88 Great Conversation Starters for Parents and Teens   Inside the tin are 44 double-sided cards, each offering a topic for the family to discuss. Topics include describing your family of origin, the teen's dream job, the teen's personality, favorite friends and teachers, and much more. Remember, when it comes to teenagers, it is not so much the topic you discuss than actually engaging in a conversation, so don't stop at the question prompt. Go further and craft follow-up questions that will intrigue your teenager.  The sturdy tin keeps all the cards safely in one place and fits perfectly tucked away in a bag, drawer, or sitting on a coffee table. Karen Stubbs, the author of the 88 Great Conversation Starters for Parents and Teens Cards in a Tin is the founder of a ministry for Moms called Birds on a Wire.  The ministry is designed to equip moms through truth, encouragement, and community.  The 88 Great Conversation Starters for Parents and Teens Cards in a Tin makes great stocking stuffers for extended family, but these cards can also be used as ice breakers in the classroom or the Sunday school classroom.
