This English Elm slab has a warm, even color with long vertical grain and natural movement around the knots near the top and lower section. The epoxy filled cracks add contrast through the center, giving the slab a finished look while still keeping the natural character of the wood visible. This slab would work well as a dining table, with enough width for a functional surface while still showing off the live edges. It could also be used for a desk, where the epoxy filled center crack would create a strong focal line. Another good option would be a kitchen island, especially for a bar, serving area, or custom workspace.
