This Eastern White Pine slab from Tanglewood has a clean, balanced look, highlighted by warm amber tones and a striking band of tight growth rings flowing down the center. The grain forms beautiful natural patterns around several small knots, creating visual interest while maintaining an overall refined appearance. Its live edges preserve the character of the original tree, and its origin from Tanglewood in Lenox adds a unique piece of Berkshire heritage to the slab’s story. This slab would make an excellent headboard, offering plenty of space while showcasing the pine’s flowing grain. It would also be well suited for a custom bar top, where the warm color and natural edges create an inviting atmosphere. For a commercial setting, it could be crafted into a distinctive reception desk that combines rustic charm with a polished appearance.
