This Eastern White Pine slab features a beautiful ribbon of amber-toned grain flowing down the center, framed by creamy sapwood and clean live edges. The soft color variation and scattered knots give the slab a warm, welcoming character while maintaining a refined, uncluttered appearance. Originating from a tree removed from the renowned venue Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts, this piece carries with it a tangible connection to a place woven into the cultural fabric of the Berkshires. Its broad proportions and graceful grain make it both visually striking and highly versatile. This slab would make an impressive kitchen island, bringing warmth and local history into the heart of a home. It would also be well suited for a custom executive desk, where the flowing grain could be appreciated across its full length. For a distinctive residential project, it could become a beautiful headboard, showcasing the natural beauty and story of the wood.
