This Eastern White Pine slab showcases the soft golden color and flowing grain that make the species such a classic choice for custom furniture and interior projects. A beautifully defined grain pattern runs the length of the slab, punctuated by scattered knots that add warmth and natural character without distracting from its clean appearance. This piece was milled from a tree sourced at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts, giving it a special connection to one of the Berkshires’ most treasured destinations. The broad face and natural live edges create a welcoming, timeless look that would fit comfortably in a variety of settings. This slab would make an exceptional dining table, where the warm tones and flowing grain could be appreciated every day. It would also be a beautiful reception desk, offering a distinctive blend of local history and natural craftsmanship. For a more rustic application, it would make a striking kitchen island, highlighting the slab’s width, character, and unique origin.
