This Eastern White Pine slab displays a beautiful column of flowing grain through the center, surrounded by soft golden tones and creamy outer wood. The grain pattern creates a sense of movement from one end of the slab to the other, while scattered knots add just the right amount of natural character. Once part of a tree growing on the celebrated grounds of Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts, this slab carries a unique Berkshire story along with its natural beauty. The combination of local heritage, clean lines, and rich color makes it a truly memorable piece. This slab would make a striking kitchen island, where its long, uninterrupted grain could become the focal point of the room. It would also be well suited for a custom dining table, offering a warm and inviting surface for gathering family and friends. For a distinctive commercial project, it could be crafted into an impressive reception desk that showcases both craftsmanship and local history.
