Eastern White Pine from the grounds of Tanglewood, in Lenox, carries a special sense of place, pairing its rich golden color with the clean, flowing grain that makes old New England pine so recognizable. The broad face showcases tight growth lines that ripple from end to end, creating a warm, inviting appearance, while the natural live edges and rustic bark accents preserve the character of the original tree. Sourced from one of the Berkshires’ most iconic landmarks, this slab offers a unique connection to the landscape and history of the region. This piece would make a stunning headboard, bringing the warmth and story of Tanglewood into a bedroom while showcasing the slab’s full natural beauty. It would also be an excellent kitchen island, where the wide surface and striking grain could become a welcoming gathering place. For a distinctive custom project, it could be crafted into a beautiful countertop, adding a touch of Berkshire history and natural charm to any space.
