845-2723 | Genuine Thermo King® Controller Electrical System

Description: A Controller Electrical System 845-2723 is the part of a machine or vehicle that controls and manages electrical and electronic operations using a central controller (computer/module). It is a system where a controller (electronic brain) receives signals, processes them, and sends commands to different electrical parts. Controller Electrical System For vehicles with Thermo King refrigeration unit installed Part Number: 845-2723 Condition: New Manufacture/Brand: Thermo King Fits 845-2723 For any vehicle that has a Thermo King refrigeration unit installed, because it is part of the refrigeration control system, not the truck itself. It is used on refrigerated transport systems installed on:  -Semi-trailer reefers (trailer refrigeration units)  -Straight trucks (box trucks with refrigeration)  -Multi-temp refrigerated trailers  -Truck-mounted Thermo King units Purpose of using 845-2723   Fluid enters the filter  - Fuel or oil from the system flows into the 45-1961 filter during operation. Contaminants are trapped  - The filter media captures dirt, metal particles, moisture, and other impurities. Clean fluid continues through the system  - Filtered fuel/oil is then delivered to sensitive components like the engine or compressor. Protects critical components  - Prevents clogging, wear, and damage to injectors, pumps, and internal engine parts. Maintains system efficiency  - Ensures smooth combustion (for fuel) or proper lubrication (for oil), keeping cooling performance stable. Supports preventive maintenance  - Regular replacement of the 45-1961 helps avoid breakdowns and extends the lifespan of the refrigeration unit. Signs of a Bad Controller Electrical System 845-2723  Slight drop in performance  - The unit may still run, but you might notice slower pull-down times (takes longer to reach set temperature). Increased fuel or oil consumption  - The system works harder due to restricted flow, leading to inefficiency. Irregular operation / minor surging  - Engine or unit may run unevenly because fluid flow is inconsistent. Warning alarms or fault codes  - Modern Thermo King units may trigger alerts related to low pressure, restricted flow, or engine performance. Loss of power or reduced cooling capacity  - The unit struggles to maintain temperature, especially under load. Hard starting or stalling  - If it’s a fuel filter, restricted fuel flow can cause starting issues or shutdowns. Visible contamination during inspection  - When removed, the filter may appear dirty, clogged, or contain water/debris. Complete blockage / unit shutdown  - In severe cases, the unit may stop running altogether due to lack of proper fluid flow.
