If you're tracking or auto-crossing your little bimmer, you know the importance of handling; don't let that Miata get the best of your E30. No more front wheel hop and steering wheel shake with these bad boys! Press these poly "offset" E30 front control arm bushings in for precise handling without the noise of Delrin or UHMW. These are the offset version (we also carry the centered units). What does having offset bushings mean? Well, these offset-style bushings were found in the E30 m3 and E36 m3. These offset versions offer a couple of slight features over the centered version. As with all of our in-house made products; we offer a Garagistic lifetime guarantee. Price is for a pair (2 units). Enough to do 1 car. Save yourself a lot of time by getting the tools to do this job with ease! No need to burn the bushings out in most cases, we use this kit for almost every bushing removal/installation: https://amzn.to/3ooRNdv IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE: WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSTALLING A SET SCREW INTO YOUR LOLLIPOPS TO PREVENT ROTATION OF THE BUSHING. IF YOU RUN THESE WITHOUT A SET SCREW, OVER TIME THE BUSHING WILL NATURALLY ROTATE. SPECIFICATIONS/BENEFITS SOME BENEFITS OF E30, E36, Z3 POLY OFFSET FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS: Geometry Changes: (Applies to cars that came from factory with centered front control arm bushings) Wider track (minimal change in overall track) More caster (Significant change in overall caster) More camber (minimal change in overall camber) These will make a massive difference in front-end grip and steering response. The factory rubber bushing was designed for comfort, not performance. They allow the control arm bushing to "float" in the center. That's great to keep the noise down but allows for TONS of play in the steering and wheel shimmy. When your bushings are old and busted the problem is even worse and more dangerous. Using our poly FCABs improves performance by reducing deflection. Poly also has a much greater longevity than rubber and less noise then UHMW and delrin units. Considerable improvements in steering and braking will be noticed by switching to poly. Lifetime warranty on all of our Garagistic bushings as well! You can rest easy when you're lapping people in your E30, knowing that your Garagistic bushings, from your front control arm to your rear trailing arm bushings are covered. If you would like the centered front control arm bushings (what standard non-M E30s came with from the factory) then click here. We highly recommend professional installation as these will require a press to install as well as remove your old bushings. FITMENT WILL THESE FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS FIT MY BMW? Replaces: These replace OEM part number 31129064875 Fits the following BMWs: E36 (All models) 318TI Z3 (All models) E30 (All models) WHY REPLACE YOUR E30, E36, Z3 FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS? At the age of these E30s, the front control arm bushings are often very worn and beat up. When you go over a bump the front wheel will shimmy and hop and do all kinds of weird business. Most people do not realize that these are a maintenance item and should really be done before lowering the vehicle. These poly options are the ultimate in performance while not adding much noise like delrin. Great for a street car (80a units). Price for a 1 pair of mounts (enough to do a car). To really feel like your car is on rails, these front-control arm bushings are a must.
