This English Elm slab has a warm golden-brown color with long, sweeping grain and plenty of natural character throughout. The large central void and surrounding grain movement create a dramatic focal point, while scattered knots and subtle figure add texture across the broad surface. This slab would make a striking headboard, where its broad shape and natural opening can be fully appreciated. It would also be an excellent kitchen island, giving the space a substantial live edge centerpiece, or an executive desk, with plenty of surface area and distinctive grain that stands out from every angle.
