We strongly recommend getting this approval before placing your order. All CBU sales are final — there are no refunds. Our Process When You Order Installation from Us Your mailbox will ship directly to your address. Once it ships, we’ll contact you to schedule the installation date. After installation, you’ll need to coordinate with your local post office to install the USPS master lock and officially activate the unit for service. Concrete Base Requirements The CBU pedestal must be anchored to a solid, level concrete pad. The pad must be poured and fully cured before installation. There are two anchoring options: Expansion wedge anchors: can be installed on new or existing slabs. J-bolts: installed at the time new concrete is poured, for maximum strength. Removal of Existing Units We can remove old CBUs for an additional cost. Please note: removal does not include offsite disposal. We do not offer haul-away services. If you need haul-away or disposal, you’ll need to arrange that with a separate service. Disclaimers Customers are responsible for securing USPS location approval before ordering. Concrete prep must be completed and ready before our installer arrives. If the site isn’t properly prepared at the scheduled installation time, additional trip or rescheduling fees may apply.
