8 oz Candle | Sappho Fig

Flamingo Estate Sappho Fig Candle: A romantic offering to beauty and longing. In the Greek island of Lesbos, home to the gardens of ancient poetess Sappho, the sensuous aroma of Fig trees hangs thick in the warm Mediterranean air. It arrives at the peak of Summer, invoking a milky greenness that mingles with the fresh aroma of crushed leaves and a hint of sun-ripened fruit. Known as the architect of longing, Sappho wrote not of love conquered, but of love suspended. It’s in this very threshold that this scent lives, conjuring the intoxicating window of time in the Greek isles when the air is still green, the Fig is just ripe, and a creamy whisper of woods and spice hint at something deeper. A romantic offering to beauty and desire, materialized. A sensuous and refreshing aroma of green stems, leaves, and sun-ripened fruit, invoking the milky greenness of the Fig, in its totality. As it evolves, a creamy whisper of woods and spice ground the scent — revealing notes of Cardamom and Sandalwood.
