8″ Federal Peppermill- Seafoam Handcrafted in New Vineyard, Maine. The Lock & Grind system is best for a wide range of grinds, and has consistent results. Turn counter-clockwise for course grinds, and clockwise for fine grinds. Fletchers’ mill pepper mills are fitted with a stainless steel two-step mechanism which first crushes the peppercorns for enhanced flavor, then grinds the peppercorns to the chosen consistency. For filling your 8″ Federal Peppermill- Seafoam unscrew top nut and remove top cap. Fill with pepper or salt. Replace top cap making sure it clicks into place. Screw on top nut while pushing up on the bottom mechanism until flush. Easy to tighten for a desired grind. Make sure to use pepper in the pepper mill and salt in the salt mill- mills are specially designed for one or the other. For cleaning and care clean the mill body with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not wash in the dishwasher or submerge in water.
