794745 Packing Spacer

The 794745 PACKING SPACER by Blackmer is a high-quality pump component available through KI Pumps, based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. It is designed to fit specific models within Blackmer’s range of pumps, ensuring proper compression of packing rings to maintain effective sealing. The packing spacer is constructed from durable materials, such as hardened steel or compatible alloys, providing long-term performance under demanding operational conditions. Its outer diameter measures approximately 2.5 inches (63.5 mm), with a thickness of 0.5 inches (12.7 mm), enabling it to fit precisely within the pump assembly without modifications. The bore diameter is compatible with standard pump shaft sizes, typically around 1 inch (25.4 mm), facilitating secure placement during installation. The 794745 PACKING SPACER plays a critical role in preventing leaks and reducing wear on sealing components, thereby contributing to optimal pump performance. It is suitable for use in applications such as chemical processing, water treatment, and industrial fluid transfer. This component is shipped as a single unit and does not include additional hardware or accessories. Proper installation involves regular inspection, and replacement when signs of wear or damage are evident to maintain pump efficiency. It can be cleaned with standard industrial cleaning agents and should be periodically inspected for corrosion or deformation. Depending on purchase conditions, a manufacturer warranty may be available. Users should follow specific maintenance guidelines provided by Blackmer to ensure reliable operation of the pump system.
