794718 Piston

The 794718 PISTON by Blackmer is a high-quality pump component designed for use in positive displacement and sliding vane pumps. Supplied by KI Pumps, based in Waukesha, WI, this piston is manufactured to meet industry standards for durability and performance in industrial pumping applications. Crafted from corrosion-resistant alloy steel or bronze, the piston ensures long-term wear resistance and reliability under chemical and mechanical stress. Its external diameter is precisely machined to fit within standard pump assemblies, typically measuring between 4 to 6 inches, depending on specific pump models. The overall length of the 794718 PISTON generally ranges from 3 to 6 inches, accommodating various pump configurations. This component is critical for accurate fluid displacement within compatible Blackmer pumps, facilitating efficient fluid transfer in applications such as chemical processing, oil and gas extraction, and manufacturing industries. The package includes the 794718 PISTON itself; additional parts like piston rings or connecting hardware are not included and should be ordered separately for maintenance or repair. Proper care involves regular inspection for wear, cleaning with compatible solvents, and storage in a dry, clean environment. Manufacturer guidelines recommend routine lubrication and replacement when signs of wear appear to maintain operational efficiency. Blackmer and KI Pumps provide warranties and maintenance instructions to support the long-term functionality of this essential pump component. The 794718 PISTON is an integral part of the pump’s moving mechanism, working in conjunction with cylinder and vane components to ensure reliable fluid handling across diverse industrial applications.
