794080 Retainer Ring

The 794080 RETAINER RING by Blackmer is an essential pump component used in positive displacement and sliding vane pumps. Manufactured by Blackmer and supplied through KI Pumps in Waukesha, Wisconsin, this retainer ring is designed to securely hold components within pump assemblies during operation. Constructed from high-strength steel, it provides durability against wear, corrosion, and fatigue, suitable for demanding industrial environments. The 794080 RETAINER RING features an internal diameter of approximately 100 mm and a width of 10 mm, with slight variations depending on specific pump models. Its lip design ensures proper seating within pump assemblies, supporting reliable and efficient operation. It is compatible with multiple Blackmer pump models used in chemical processing, oil transfer, water transfer, and other industrial applications. Installation and removal are facilitated by standard hand tools, enabling routine maintenance and reducing downtime. Regular inspection is recommended to identify signs of deformation, corrosion, or excessive wear; replacement ensures optimal sealing and operational integrity. The retainer ring does not include additional parts and should be replaced as part of pump repair kits to maintain proper function. Overall, the 794080 RETAINER RING prevents component displacement, preserves pump integrity, and maintains consistent efficiency, thereby supporting reliable pump operation worldwide in applications requiring positive displacement pump systems.
