793478 Oil Deflector Ring

The 793478 OIL DEFLECTOR RING by Blackmer is a precision-engineered pump component designed to enhance the performance and durability of positive displacement and sliding vane pumps. Manufactured by Blackmer and supplied exclusively by KI Pumps of Waukesha, WI, a globally recognized distributor of high-quality pump components, this oil deflector ring ensures effective oil management within pump assemblies. Constructed from high-grade, corrosion-resistant materials such as hardened alloy steel, the oil deflector ring exhibits excellent wear resistance and structural integrity under demanding operational conditions. Its dimensions measure approximately 3.0 inches in outer diameter, 2.0 inches in inner diameter, and a thickness of 0.2 inches, making it compatible with a range of Blackmer pump models that utilize this specific ring size. It weighs approximately 0.15 pounds (68 grams). The 793478 OIL DEFLECTOR RING features a precisely machined design that ensures a tight fit, minimizing oil leakage and preventing contaminants from entering the pump mechanism. It is engineered with a rounded, smooth surface to facilitate efficient oil deflection and improve overall pump longevity. The ring’s robust geometry supports consistent operation at rotation speeds up to 3600 RPM. This component is ideal for use in industrial applications involving fluid transfer, HVAC, chemical processing, and other sectors requiring high-performance positive displacement pumps. It is particularly recommended for maintenance and repair of Blackmer pumps, aiming to restore optimal oil sealing and extend service intervals. The 793478 OIL DEFLECTOR RING is suitable for replacing worn or damaged deflector rings, helping to maintain pump efficiency within budget constraints. Included in the box is one 793478 OIL DEFLECTOR RING. No additional mounting hardware or tools are provided, so use existing equipment during installation. For best results, ensure the pump is thoroughly cleaned and lubricated according to the manufacturer’s specifications before fitting the new ring. Care instructions involve regular inspection for signs of wear, cracking, or deformation. The oil deflector ring should be cleaned with non-abrasive methods and inspected during routine pump maintenance. It can be replaced periodically to maintain optimal pump performance. The component features a durable design that supports long service life when properly maintained.
