792197 Flywheel

792197 Flywheel by Blackmer The 792197 Flywheel by Blackmer is a precision-engineered component designed to stabilize the drive system of compatible positive displacement and sliding vane pumps. Constructed from high-strength steel, this flywheel ensures durability and reliable performance under industrial conditions. It features a diameter of approximately 12 inches (304.8 mm) and weighs around 6.5 pounds (2.95 kg), offering the appropriate rotational inertia for smooth pump operation. Key features include: Optimized for smooth starts and steady operation: The flywheel provides the rotational inertia necessary to minimize pulsation and enhance steady speed control in pump assemblies. Vibration and wear reduction: Its balanced rotation reduces vibration, decreasing stress on bearings and couplings, which extends component life. Precise compatibility: Machined to fit specifically with Blackmer pump drive components, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. Durable construction: Designed to withstand continuous industrial use, load variations, and repeated startups and shutdowns. Maintenance support: Facilitates consistent pump performance after rebuilds or upgrades to drive components. The 792197 Flywheel by Blackmer is essential for maintaining optimal pump performance, especially in applications requiring reduced vibration, enhanced stability, and longevity of the drive system. It is suitable for use in chemical processing, water treatment, and other industrial fluid handling systems where Blackmer pumps are employed. The product ships with the flywheel itself; installation hardware and detailed mounting instructions are typically included separately or provided upon request. The component does not include additional drive system parts. Care instructions involve periodic inspection for wear or damage, cleaning of contact surfaces, and adherence to manufacturer torque specifications during installation. The flywheel is designed for long-term use, with maintenance routines focused on routine checks rather than complex servicing.
