Whirlpool Extra Large Range Burner (74007736)

The Whirlpool Extra Large Range Burner is the high-output gas burner assembly used on your range's largest burner position, designed to deliver maximum heat for boiling, searing, and cooking with large pots and pans. It mixes gas and air to create an even, consistent flame across the full burner head, giving you the power output needed for high-heat cooking tasks. The Whirlpool Extra Large Range Burner can fail over time due to clogged burner ports from food spills, grease buildup, corrosion, or physical damage to the burner cap or head. A damaged or blocked burner will struggle to ignite properly or maintain an even flame, making it difficult to cook reliably at high heat. Look for these symptoms to help determine if this burner needs to be replaced: - Burner will not ignite or takes multiple attempts to light - Flame is uneven, weak, or only appears on part of the burner - Burner lights but goes out shortly after ignition - Visible cracks, chips, or damage to the burner head or cap - Clicking continues after the burner has lit or fails to click at all - Yellow or orange flame instead of a steady blue flame - Burner produces an unusual smell or excessive soot around the cooktop
