hipSTAR Glide, 11.5 mm x 5 m

The Teufelberger hipSTAR Glide 11.5 mm x 5 m is a certified, adjustable work-positioning lanyard for professional tree care. Teufelberger lists 5 m among the available lengths for the 11.5 mm system and rates the complete lanyard for a maximum user weight of 150 kg including tools and equipment. The system is certified for one-person use to EN 358:2018, EN 795B:2012, and ANSI Z133-2017, and its components are replaceable. The current hipSTAR Glide platform uses Teufelberger’s glideHITCH pulley and karaT carabiners; the 5 m length gives climbers substantial positioning range while retaining the same certified system architecture.
