Drive the extension into the core bit. Start drilling until 3/8” deep. Use the ejector key to remove the pilot drill. Continue drilling until the core bit is filled, around 3” deep. Break material inside with a chisel if needed. Repeat until desired depth is reached. About This Item: Notice: Using this core bit without a pilot drill may damage the system. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent breakage at the extension's tapered end, especially between the slots. Such breaks may not be covered under warranty.
