711940 O-Ring NIT

The 711940 O-RING NIT by Blackmer is a high-quality sealing component manufactured specifically for use in positive displacement and sliding vane pumps. Produced by Blackmer and supplied by KI Pumps of Waukesha, WI, this O-ring provides reliable performance in demanding pump applications. It is designed with durable materials to withstand hydraulic pressures ranging from 2 to 115 NIT (Newtons per square millimeter), ensuring effective sealing across various operating conditions. The O-ring is constructed from high-quality elastomeric compounds suitable for use in fluid and gas handling systems. Its composition delivers strong compression resistance, chemical compatibility, and long service life, making it ideal for pump seals, valves, and other industrial sealing applications. The 711940 O-RING measures precisely in internal diameter and cross-section, with dimensions specified according to industry standards to ensure proper fitment in compatible pump models. Key features include: Exact dimensions tailored for Blackmer pumps, with a specific internal diameter range compatible with models requiring 2-115 NIT ratings Manufactured from resilient elastomers resistant to oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals Designed for high-pressure sealing, maintaining integrity under dynamic pump conditions Temperature tolerance suitable for typical pump environments, generally from -20°C to +120°C This 711940 O-RING is ideal for maintenance, repair, or replacement in positive displacement pumps, especially where high pressure and chemical resistance are required. It is best suited for industrial, agricultural, or municipal liquid transfer systems operated under specified pressure ranges. This O-ring is most compatible with Blackmer pump models that specify the 711940 part number, offering a dependable sealing solution for technical and operational needs. Each package includes one 711940 O-RING. The product does not include additional mounting tools or replacement hardware. Proper installation ensures optimal sealing performance; users should inspect the O-ring for defects before installation. For longevity, the 711940 O-RING should be cleaned with compatible solvents when needed and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Routine inspection and replacement are recommended after signs of wear or damage. The product’s service life can be extended through proper handling and installation according to industry standards.
