Its standard dimensions are designed to fit specific Blackmer pump models, with an inner diameter of approximately 2.237 inches and a cross-sectional thickness of 1/8 inch, ensuring a precise seal when installed correctly. The O-RING's durability is indicated by its resistance to temperature variations from -40°F to +250°F (-40°C to +121°C), maintaining sealing integrity under typical operational conditions. This O-RING serves critical use cases in sealing pump components to prevent fluid leaks and contamination, making it ideal for use in oil and gas, chemical, water treatment, and industrial fluid handling sectors. It is especially suitable for budget-conscious maintenance operations needing reliable, cost-effective sealing components without sacrificing performance. Each package includes one 702280 O-RING 2-237 NIT; additional installation accessories or tools are not included. To ensure longevity and optimal sealing, it is recommended to regularly inspect and replace the O-RING as part of scheduled maintenance. Care instructions involve keeping the O-RING clean and free from sharp debris during installation. It should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and chemicals that could degrade the nitrile material. While the product does not include a warranty, proper handling and regular inspection will maintain its sealing integrity over time.
