702237 O-Ring 2-249 NIT

The 702237 O-RING 2-249 NIT is a high-quality sealing component manufactured by Blackmer, a recognized leader in pump parts production. Specifically designed for use in positive displacement and sliding vane pumps, this O-ring provides reliable sealing performance under demanding conditions. It is made from nitryl (NIT), a synthetic rubber characterized by excellent resistance to hydraulic oils, petroleum-based fluids, and weathering factors, ensuring long-lasting durability. The dimensions of the 702237 O-RING are calibrated to fit 2-249 NIT pump models, with an approximate outer diameter of 2.5 inches, an inside diameter of 2 inches, and a cross-sectional width of 0.125 inches. These measurements may vary slightly; users should verify against their specific equipment requirements. The component features a circular cross-section with a smooth finish to facilitate straightforward installation and dependable sealing. The 702237 O-RING is suitable for fluid handling applications where chemical resistance, elasticity, and temperature stability are essential. It is ideal for pump maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, especially in industrial settings utilizing Blackmer pumps. The product ships as a single O-ring, with available options for batch replacements. Proper care includes routine inspection for signs of wear or damage, with replacement recommended upon deterioration. It can be cleaned using mild, non-abrasive cleaning agents, and should be stored in a cool, dry environment to maintain material properties. The 702237 O-RING ensures effective sealing and sustained pump performance in operational environments requiring chemical resistance and reliable elastomeric properties.
