702231 O-Ring NIT

The 702231 O-RING NIT is a high-quality sealing component designed specifically for Blackmer pumps. Supplied by KI Pumps, based in Waukesha, WI, this O-Ring is engineered to ensure reliable performance in various fluid handling applications. It is constructed from nitrile (NIT) elastomer, a durable synthetic rubber known for its excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and hydrocarbons. The 702231 O-RING NIT features a precise cross-sectional thickness of approximately 2.267 inches, with exact inner and outer diameters tailored to fit Blackmer pump models accurately. It is capable of withstanding pressures up to 150 psi and operating temperatures from -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). The nitrile elastomer provides an elastic, rigid seal that prevents fluid leaks and maintains pump efficiency throughout extended service periods. This O-Ring is compatible exclusively with Blackmer pumps requiring the specific part number 702231, ensuring compatibility and optimal sealing performance. It is suitable for use in fluid transfer, chemical processing, and hydraulic systems where high sealing integrity is essential. The product ships as a single O-Ring, with no additional parts included. For longevity, users should periodically inspect the O-Ring for signs of wear or cracking and replace as necessary. Maintenance involves cleaning with compatible fluids and avoiding exposure to ozone, prolonged sunlight, or aggressive chemicals that can degrade nitrile elastomers. The 702231 O-RING NIT plays a vital role in maintaining pump reliability by preventing leaks and ensuring consistent operation, making it a critical component for professionals managing industrial fluid systems.
