702211 O-Ring NIT

The 702211 O-RING 2-037 NIT by Blackmer is a high-quality rubber sealing component designed for use in positive displacement pumps. Supplied by KI Pumps of Waukesha, WI, a recognized leader in pump components, this O-ring ensures reliable sealing performance in demanding applications. Constructed from nitrile (NIT) rubber, the 702211 O-RING offers excellent resistance to oils, hydrocarbons, and petroleum-based fluids, as well as good temperature tolerance ranging from -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to +248°F). It features a standard cross-sectional diameter of approximately 2.62 mm (0.103 inches) and an inner diameter of about 25.4 mm (1 inch), making it compatible with various pump models requiring the 2-037 NIT specification. This O-ring is primarily used to create a watertight seal in positive displacement pumps, including gear, rotary, and piston types, reducing leakage and maintaining pump efficiency. It is suitable for industrial, agricultural, and OEM applications where chemical compatibility with common hydrocarbons and oils is essential. The product includes one 702211 O-RING per package; additional accessories or mounting hardware are not included. The O-ring’s resilient nitrile material provides strong wear resistance, extending service life in continuous operation environments. For optimal performance, the 702211 O-RING should be inspected regularly for signs of wear, cracking, or deformation. It is recommended to clean and lubricate the O-ring with compatible fluids during installation to ensure proper sealing. The product typically does not require special maintenance but should be replaced if damaged or compromised.
