702179 O-RING 2-220 Aflas ?

The 702179 O-RING 2-220 AFLAS by Blackmer is a high-quality sealing component designed for use in pump systems. Manufactured by KI Pumps of Waukesha, WI, a recognized leader in positive displacement and sliding vane pump components, this O-ring ensures reliable sealing and durability in demanding applications. Constructed from AFLAS fluorocarbon rubber, the 702179 O-RING offers excellent chemical resistance, temperature stability from -40°C to 204°C, and wear resistance, making it suitable for challenging operating conditions. The O-ring's dimensions are 2 inches in inner diameter and 220 mil (0.220 inches) in cross-sectional thickness, fitting specific pump models that require this size. Key features of the 702179 O-RING include: Material: AFLAS fluorocarbon rubber, known for chemical and heat resistance Size: 2 inches inner diameter x 0.220 inches cross-section Durability: resistant to oils, fuels, acids, and process chemicals Temperature range: -40°C to 204°C, suitable for high-temperature environments Sealing performance: provides a tight, reliable seal in pump applications Standard industry design: compatible with specified pump models requiring this size and material This 702179 O-RING is ideal for use in industrial, chemical, and petroleum pump systems where reliable sealing, chemical resistance, and temperature stability are critical. It is particularly suited for applications involving aggressive chemicals or high-temperature fluids, making it a preferred choice for pump repair and maintenance projects. The 702179 O-RING ships individually and does not include additional hardware. Proper installation ensures optimal sealing performance. It is recommended to inspect and replace O-rings regularly to maintain pump efficiency and prevent leaks. Cleaning involves simple wiping with appropriate chemical-resistant cleaners. The AFLAS material can withstand many cleaning agents but should be checked for compatibility with specific fluids. The O-ring does not require special storage conditions but should be kept dry and protected from prolonged sunlight exposure for maximum lifespan.
