702004 O-Ring Buna

The 702004 O-RING by Blackmer is a high-quality Buna N (Nitrile) elastomer sealing component designed for reliable and durable sealing applications. Manufactured by KI Pumps of Waukesha, WI, a globally recognized supplier of positive displacement and sliding vane pumps, this O-ring is intended for use in hydraulic and fluid transfer systems demanding precise sealing performance. The 702004 O-RING is constructed from Buna N rubber, known for its excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and lubricants, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. It features a standard circular cross-section with a diameter that conforms to industry specifications, providing compatibility with various pump models and fittings. Specific dimensions include an inner diameter of approximately 3/4 inch (19.05 mm), an outer diameter of approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm), and a cross-sectional thickness of 1/8 inch (3.18 mm). The O-ring weighs approximately 0.02 kg, making handling and installation straightforward in confined spaces. Key features of the 702004 O-RING include: Material: Buna N (Nitrile) rubber with high resistance to oils, fuels, and most hydraulic fluids Temperature range: -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to +248°F) Hardness: Shore A 70 ±5, ensuring flexibility and compression set resistance Sealing pressure: Capable of withstanding operating pressures up to 150 psi (10 bar) Standards compliance: Meets industry standards for O-ring dimensions and performance Application compatibility: Suitable for use in hydraulic systems, fluid transfer, and other sealing requirements This 702004 O-RING is ideal for replacing worn or damaged seals in Blackmer pumps and related equipment, offering a budget-friendly yet durable sealing solution. It is particularly suitable for industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, and manufacturing, where reliable sealing under challenging conditions is essential. Each order of the 702004 O-RING includes one rubber O-ring; packaging may vary based on supplier, and additional hardware or sealing kits are not included. The O-ring does not require special installation tools but should be inspected for defects prior to fitting. To ensure longevity, it is recommended to clean and inspect the O-ring before installation. Routine maintenance includes avoiding excessive compression or stretching during assembly. The Buna N material offers good resistance to oil and temperature extremes, but exposure to aggressive chemicals should be avoided. Warranty details are available through the supplier for defective components or manufacturing faults.
