701980 O-Ring FKM

The 701980 O-RING FKM, manufactured by Blackmer, is a high-performance sealing component designed for demanding industrial applications. This O-ring is constructed from FKM (fluoroelastomer), a material known for excellent chemical resistance, high thermal stability, and durability in aggressive environments. The O-ring features a standard cross-section diameter of approximately 3.53 mm (0.139 inches), suitable for sealing grooves with corresponding dimensions, and measures approximately 89 mm (3.5 inches) in outer diameter. Its robust design ensures reliable sealing under pressures up to 20 bar (290 psi) and temperatures ranging from -20°C to 200°C (-4°F to 392°F). This makes the 701980 O-RING FKM ideal for use in piston pumps, valve assemblies, and other fluid handling systems involving aggressive chemicals or high temperatures. It is compatible with a broad range of fluids, including hydrocarbons, solvents, and synthetic oils. The O-ring is supplied as a single unit, without additional accessories. For longevity, it is recommended to avoid improper installation or exposure to abrasive substances. Care includes sealing surface inspection before installation, and cleaning with compatible solvents. KI Pumps, based in Waukesha, WI, supplies this 701980 O-RING FKM as part of their extensive range of pump components, trusted by industry professionals worldwide for high-quality and dependable sealing solutions.
