This socket is used to hold the top of the strut shaft to tighten the strut shaft jam nut or to adjust the valve on top of the shaft (certain manufactures). It is commonly used in combo with our pass thru socket. Specs: 7/16" hex 1/4" drive SAE 6pt 2" long Includes: 1ea socket
