We make these here to keep costs down and we use oversize material so you will not find caps this robust anywhere else. Post caps do a lot more than pretty up a fence, mainly they protect the top of posts from collecting standing water. That water will sink into the post and over years of expansion and contraction open up deep cracks that will harbor fungus and rot. 6X6 caps measure 1 11/16 thick and are 7 3/4″ x 7 3/4″
