The 6mm edge band is made of 14k and 18k yellow gold embedded into oxidized sterling silver. This band measures 6mm x 1.5mm The sterling silver has been oxidized to darken it and create contrast. The silver will brighten with wear, typically in a few weeks . It is a simple 2 minute process to redarken it using our anti-polish, but it will continue to brighten over time. The last photo in this series shows how this band will look with wear. If you want us to include the anti-polish with your purchase, please let us now in the note section once the ring is added to cart or in response to my email to you after purchase. Please give us about 4 weeks to make your ring. Contact us at info@varianceobjects.com or 831-346-6758 with any questions.
