'69 Strat

Our '69 Strat pickups are wound with vintage style 42 AWG Plain Enamel wire to give a transparent tone with more of a hi fidelity top end than our '62 Strat. The Alnico 5 magnets give these pickups a lively attack with a lot of presence. The '69 Strat pickups utilize our custom magnet stagger, featuring a mild radius that works well with modern string gages. Unlike many Strat magnet staggers (that use shorter magnets for the outer strings), Silver Hand's design uses the same length pole piece magnets for each string, allowing for a more consistent string-to-string balance. Learn more. Balanced Performance The '69 Strat pickups are calibrated for a slight and progressively hotter middle and bridge pickup, allowing for a balanced tone and output when switching pickups. The middle pickup is RWRP for hum canceling operation in the 2nd and 4th positions. Demo Details Guitar: 1982 Fender Fullerton '62 RI Amp: Fender '65 Deluxe RI Overdrive: Cole Music Co.
