657879 Flange

Introducing the 657879 Flange by Blackmer! The 657879 Flange by Blackmer is a high-precision, industrial-grade component designed for secure, leak-proof pump connections. Crafted from durable materials, this flange ensures reliable sealing and long-term performance in demanding pumping environments. It is compatible with Blackmer's range of positive displacement and sliding vane pumps, providing a precise fit that supports stable alignment and minimizes leak risks. Constructed from corrosion-resistant steel or alloy materials, the 657879 Flange is engineered to withstand pressure cycling up to 150 psi and operational temperatures from -20°C to 80°C. The flange features machined flat faces with a diameter of 150 mm, and includes six evenly spaced bolt holes with a diameter of 12 mm, ensuring uniform pressure distribution and ease of installation. Internal flow passages are smooth, with internal diameters of 100 mm, reducing turbulence and pressure loss during operation. Key features include: Leak-proof sealing: Machined sealing faces promote tight, leak-resistant joints Precise dimensional accuracy: Supports proper alignment and straightforward installation Corrosion-resistant materials: Materials resist rust and pressure cycling, extending lifespan Optimized internal flow: Smooth internal transitions aid in maintaining consistent flow and reducing turbulence Ease of maintenance: Compatible with standard gaskets, allowing quick inspection and gasket replacement The 657879 Flange is ideal for use in industrial pumping applications, including chemical processing, water treatment, and other fluid transfer operations. It is especially suitable for operations where a reliable, leak-resistant connection is critical, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious facilities seeking durability and ease of maintenance while ensuring operational integrity. Included in the package are the flange body and gasket. Not included are bolts and nuts, which must be ordered separately to meet specific installation requirements. Care instructions involve regular inspection of sealing surfaces and replacement of gaskets as needed. The flange requires cleaning with mild solvent and periodic lubrication of bolt threads. It is recommended to follow manufacturer guidelines for torque specifications during installation. The component is backed by Blackmer’s standard warranty covering manufacturing defects and corrosion-related issues within the first 12 months of use.
