Turquoise Bird, Eagle by Debra Gasper and Ray Tsethlikai

A vibrant blue turquoise eagle with a prominent black to gray matrix and sterling silver inlaid eyes carved by Debra Gasper and her partner; Ray Tsethlikai. Debra has incised three feather rows on the sides of the eagle and her characteristic X on the top of the back - which also symbolizes the the wings we have been told. The Zuni believe the Creator made the eagle to be a teacher for mankind. The eagle is the guardian and master of the sky - revered for its power, strength and dynamic grace.
