A striking red and black spotted glass art frog created by Leland Boone and his partner Daphne Quam with turquoise inlaid eyes. The couple added one of their fabulous offering bundles to the top of the frog's back with sinew featuring an abalone arrowhead topped with a turquoise and coral bead. Note: since the glass is semi transparent - the inlaid turquoise eyes can be seen going about an eighth inch downwards. The Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frog sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning. Artist: Leland Boone and Daphne Quam (signed) Size: 1-5/8 in. wide x 2-1/4 in. tall x 1-1/8 in. tall #64938
