A striking small white and black colored zebra stone marble beaver carved by the now deceased Peter Natachu looking slightly to its right side with turquoise inlaid eyes. Peter died around March of 2017. The beaver's tail is inlaid with a striking design utilizing bits of turquoise, green serpentine, clam shell and jet. In Zuni culture, the beaver represents industriousness, diligence, and achievement. As a natural architect and keeper of the waterways, the beaver symbolizes a strong sense of family unity, home, and community collaboration.
