Ricolite (Serpentine) Buffalo by Bernard Laiwakete

A striking light, dark snd grass green colored ricolite, serpentine buffalo carved by Bernard Laiwakete with sterling silver inlaid horns and turquoise inlaid eyes and heart line. The legs are carved as two simplified forms with the buffalo's beard leading the front view and the tail bringing up the rear. Bernard is the father of Kenric Laiwakete. The symbolism of the buffalo is to help mankind overcome all obstacles, build emotional courage and physical strength and to bring abundance and initiate prayerfulness. Buffalo is a provider to all - with positive energy at the forefront - we can overcome all obstacles. Artist: Bernard Laiwakete (signed) Size: 3/8 in. wide x 2-7/8 in. long x 1-3/4 in. tall #64781
