A plump gray and black veined Picasso marble frog carved by Jayne Quam with big turquoise eyes inlaid to the raised eyes sockets. Jayne inlaid her bits of shell and stones to the center of the frog's back - but as well; she inlaid a portion under the frog's head. The Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frogs sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning. Artist: Jayne Quam (signed) Size: 1 in. wide x 2 in. long x 3/4 in. tall #64757
